CONNECTING PEX TUBE TO INSERT FITTINGS:
1. Cut Pex pipe squarely.Check pipe LD.and 0.0.and remove any burrs.
2. Apply copper ring or PEX clamp on top of PEX pipe.
3. Insert fitting intothe end of the pipeand pull clamp or ring over the fiting within 1/8 to 1/4 inch from the end of the tube.This process presses the fitting ribs into the pipe.
4. Crimp copper ring or PEX clamp using the required tool.
5. Check crimp using the G0-No-Go Gauge to determine if the crimp connection was properly made.
6. The G0 opening should go freely across a crimped copper ring.The N0-G0 opening should not go across a crimped copper ring.
7. All water systems should be pressure tested prior to use.
